The Courses
All three courses were designed by Gary Player — fittingly, since Fancourt sits in George, his home region. They were built out over a decade: Montagu in 1990, Outeniqua in 1997, and finally The Links in 2000, shaped from a former airfield with the Outeniqua Mountains as a backdrop. The Links has since been ranked South Africa's number one course by Golf Digest and hosted the 2003 Presidents Cup — still the only Presidents Cup in history to end in a tie, settled only after Tiger Woods and Ernie Els traded three playoff holes as the light faded.
Outeniqua
Day 1 — tee off 12:00, a relaxed parklands round with mountain and forest views.
Montagu
Day 2 — tee off 08:00, one of South Africa's best-conditioned parkland courses.
The Links
Day 3 — tee off 12:00, Gary Player's flagship British Isles-style links course.
